  PLEASE DON’T

  • Surface fish aggressively or use excessive bait (BREAD).
  • Use more than one standard size tin of sweetcorn
  • Use  cat meat
  • Use Barbed Hooks.
  • Use Braided Line/hook lengths
  • Use fixed rigs – Free running method feeders only.
  • Use Keep nets (unless in a pre- booked match).
  • Leave rod/line unattended in the water.
  • Remove fish from the lakes – put them back for someone else to enjoy.

  PLEASE DO

  • Enjoy yourselves!
  • Use barbless hooks only, up to size 8 max.
  • Use Landing mats and nets for fish over 1lb
  • Supervise juniors under 16 and ensure over 12’s have a valid license.
  • Take all litter home with you.
  • If taking pictures of your ‘PRIZE CATCH’ – we would appreciate it if you do this quickly and at low level (kneeling or crouching). A finger/thumb in the fish’s mouth keeps them calm and less likely to struggle/fall.
