Sandall Park fishery is located within a public park in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and the lake has 25 pegs and 2 large islands with a mixture of coarse fish species.

The lake has a large head of carp ranging in size to almost 20lb and silver fish including bream, specimen roach and rudd, pike and large eels.

Match fishing is available at Sandall Park and matches are held quite regularly. Please see website or contact SPAC for details.

Parking

Parking is free and open 24/7. The nearest car park for anglers to use is the main car park near the playground on Thorne Road. Pathways lead directly to the lakeside and to the disabled fishing pegs on the ‘old boathouse’ area.

There are two main car parks in the park itself. One next to the toilets and one next to the cafe. These car parks are adequate normally but can get full at peak times. There is also ample car parking in layby’s on Barnby Dun Road on the play area side of the park.

If there are large events on in  the park (sponsored runs or large concerts) there is on road parking available on the industrial estates at the rear of McDonalds or first left off Leger Way on to Shaw Wood Way. This would mean walking a short distance.

 Disabled Access

Sandall Park lake is fortunate enough to have fishing pegs for the less able with tarmac paths leading from the nearby car park all the way to the pegs. There is a slight incline down to the lake. Disabled toilet facilities are available during the summer months (April to October) and open from 8am to approximately 4pm.

Toilets

The toilets are open from the 1st April to 31st October, as they have experienced serious frost damage during recent winters hence the winter closure.

During the summer period the facility is open from approximately 8am until 4pm (this may vary due to commitments).
