Paradise Lakeside Lodges is a beautiful 15 acre Park with two fantastic lakes on site available for fishing.
House Lake
House Lake is approximately 100m away from the lodges. It is set in woodland and is open to residents and non-residents. It has two islands and lily and reed beds. The trick is to fish the margins for best results at approximately 3ft deep (use your plummet). Float on either rod or pole works well. All manner of baits work well, bread being the all round favourite. Fish on either the bottom or weather permitting the top. Regular trickle feeding in both summer and winter is the key to success. This lake is 3ft deep on average running to 4ft max.
Lodge Lake
Lodge Lake is directly outside the lodges and is for lodge residents only at peak times. This has been designed as a margin fishery. There are reed and lily beds between every peg. You only need to fish at about one rod length in about three feet of water in order to find fish. The same baits and tactics as for House Lake. This lake is 3ft deep on average to 6ft max.
Both lakes contain a wide variety of coarse fish i.e. bream, tench, golden rudd, rudd, roach, perch, common/mirror/ghost & crucian carp, golden tench and golden orfe.
Day tickets are charged at £10 a day for two rods
