Colder water Appalachian mountain lake with blue back herring as an introduced food source. Water is usually very clear and requires a light monofilament line or flourocarbon. Very little vegetation in lake. Be prepared to fish rocks, blown down trees, points and pockets. Best months to fish are April-June and September through early November.
