Based near Whitley Bridge, just off the M62, Jcn 34, Horseshoe Fishing Pond and Caravan Park is great for caravanners who love fishing and who also love the countryside. The caravan park is all hardstanding with electric hook up points. It also has ladies and gents toilets, hot and cold water and shower facilities. Pets are very welcome. Discounts are given for weekly stays. The Fishing Pond is situated very close to the Caravan Park.
The pond is stocked with a large variety of fish including Bream, Tench, Perch, Rudd and a few Pike. It has approx 21 pegs. The pond is about 3ft deep near the edge and approx 7ft near to the middle. I personally recommend a day session on this water during the summer when you can fish later into the evening, I’ve fished it before it became what it is now, and know the owner very well, it will give any level of Angler a good days sport.
