Forshagaforsen is a fantastic place to catch big salmon and brown trout. You can also fish for Zander and Pike here but its most popular fly fishing for Salon and Trout. 

The fishing can be busy here so make sure you check for availability before arriving. 

The site has very friendly and helpful staff who are more then happy to point out where the best spots to catch fish are. Guiding and instruction can also be arranged for Salmon and Trout. They have a few flies normally but its recommended you arrive with all your fishing supplies as its a driev to the nearest tackle store. 

There are four onsite 4 bed cabins to rent at a very reasonable daily rate. These cabins are very fresh and really convenient just meters from the river bank and the boats. They contain a small kitchenette and a shower/toilet. 

The site also has a campsite for caravan, mobile homes and tents. 

There are zones for fly-fishing and spinning; wading and boat fishing. 2,5 km divided in four zones.

Fishing is mainly from boat here. There are enough boats for every angler with a permit to hire. When the water is particularly low some wading can be done and there is some really good bank fishing at the top of zone one but be careful the rocks can be slippery. 

The onsite facilities include a small kitchenette and toilets.
