Clumber Park Lake is one of those renowned waters that most fishermen in the country will have heard of.
This is a very large 83 acre man-made serpentine lake offers a 4 mile route around its banks, which holds some huge fish. As the size would suggest, these fish lurk in the depths, so a session on here could be quite hit and miss. Don’t let that put you off, Clumber Park will reward an angler who puts the effort in. If you can locate the fish and then get your approach right you could have the session of a lifetime on here!
The venue sees a lot of action from carp and pike anglers. The bait which goes provides ample support for the other coarse fish, if 48lb+ carp aren’t your thing, the double figure bream, 9lb tench, 4lb perch and pike to over 20lb are no uncommon here throughout the year should tickle your fancy.
