   Disabled anglers beware, phoned last night to check availability of day ticket and told all was ok, made the journey from the other side of hull my first ever time there purchased said ticket and selected an easier access peg as most of the open area spots were taken by pole fishermen with rests protruding back onto the road. i started setting up on vacant peg to be told you cant fish there by another angler its a match every other pegs gotta be vacant i said id paid my money the same as him and enquired beforehand on any restriction and was told no. he phoned someone he said was the Bailiff. the anglers phone was on speaker i heard him say you cant fish and when i asked to speak to him he sighed like it was too much effort. the angler whos phone it was directed me to pegs further down obviously not used as much as there were large drops down to the pegs i simply couldnt manage with my restrictions. they were also either overgrown or choked with weed. i sat waiting for the Bailiff with a coffee until the angler said hes not coming the match was more importnt to him. there are no online indication of matches the ticket issuing staff are clueless of matches and its only on the back of the day ticket does it state check some matchboards but again no location for the traveller or first timer. so beware if your disabled the able bodied come first here, your not even worthy of a conversation or guidance from the Bailiff. i had to come home no fishing yet they took my money and i have the expense of a wasted journey.

   I went fishing on Beverly beck today and I didn’t catch any fish as it was too cold, and the bait kept falling off the line
