Trout caught on April 29, 2017 on the Williams River in West Virginia

Be careful fishing with trout magnets, they are very sharp and could be blown by the wind when casting. A friend of mine found out the hard way this past week while fishing at East Lynn Spillway below the East Lynn Lake in West Virginia.

They stocked Beech Fork and East Lynn on Tuesday and I was able to catch and release several trout during this week. Caught a total of 110 and release all back was a great week trout fishing with friends.

I was up at the Williams River and caught one trout last Friday could see plenty but could not get them to hit on anything. Saturday morning started out on the Cranberry River and caught 2 rainbow and then went to Williams and caught 3 more. Still were not hitting good.

I enjoy fishing Summit Lake out of Richwood West Virginia, also the Williams River and the Cranberry River. Good trout fishing at all 3
