Great fun on light gear with more Mackeral. These ones ate well, returned loads more.

Not for children but funny

Had some fun with Mackeral on light gear, kept one for eating. If only they grew to 6lb, what a fight that would be.

For anyone interested in nature have a look at explore.org on facebook. Live Bear and Salmon cams at Katmai national park, Alaska. Good to see the Salmon leaping the falls and some being caught by the Bears.

Been having some good sport lately with Brown Trout up to 3 and a half lb. Kept this nice 2lb fish for the pot, took a Gold Head Hares Ear. Lovely orange flesh and it ate well. Simply filleted and fried in butter with a side salad.
